This site is dedicated to the memory of Pat Barnard.
Pat was born on October 17, 1934 at the Maternity Hospital in Oriental Road, Woking. She passed away peacefully at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice on the 15th April.
Since her cancer diagnosis in 2013 Pat found comfort, fun and friendship at the Phyllis Tuckwell Day Hospice. She was moved there as an in-patient in her last few weeks and had wonderful care, looking out on to a beautiful garden full of spring flowers.
In recognition of this Pat and her family would welcome any donation you feel you are able to make to Phyllis Tuckwell and would prefer that a donation is made in favour of any flower tributes at her funeral.
We will be celebrating Pat's life in a service at Woking Crematorium on Wednesday 6th May at 11:45 am. If you would like to join us at Pat's home following the service, please let us know by clicking on the link above on the left: "Contact Pat's Family".

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, we have well over £1,500 of donations and we will add to this and publish the final amount raised on this tribute page.
It was lovely to see everyone yesterday, despite the sad occassion at both the crematorium and all squashed up at Mum's house.

I remember Mandy and Deb's mum when we were all growing up as a lovely mother first and foremost, a strong generous character, no push over but always ready to have a laugh, she created a very special, cosy home where we gravitated as irritating and irritable teenagers because we were always made welcome. Remembering fondly visits to Pat, Debbie, Mandy and Ian in 1964/1965 with my son Julian as a baby and their visits to us in our mobile home in Mytchett with Doreen, Janet and Della Hay. Happy days. Anne Munday x
